A clear philosophy

Switcher supplies a comprehensive line of garments which are practical, compliant with the criteria for social and environmental production and of excellent quality; they are permanently available in a wide range of colours at family-friendly prices from a large network of qualified retailers.

Product

Harmonization of the products and a consistent quality standard rank foremost among Switcher's concerns. The range permanently comprises some eighty models for adults, twenty for children and ten accessories in a wide choice of colourways, recognizable by their logo, a little yellow whale. There are some forty permanent colourways (basic colours) and fifteen fashion colourways (fashion colours). Moreover, forty or so more "trendy" models enrich the assortment available each season in the shops and stores.

Designed for all ages, all sizes and all activities, these comfortable and easy to maintain garments are made of the finest materials, all guaranteed by the Oeko-Tex 100 label; some models even qualify for the Max Havelaar label. Plain and without any markings, they are equally suitable for the fashion niche market or for further processing, for instance with the addition of an advertising message.

Their design is carefully studied to adapt readily to the tastes of all kinds of different consumers. The lines and colourways are infinitely combinable in a playful spirit to follow fashion trends and also by adapting the basics. The entire collection is regularly presented through all kinds of sales materials (catalogues, flyers, mailings, posters etc.).

 

Presentation of the assortment

So as to respond increasingly to the needs of its consumers, in 2005 Switcher decided to rework its entire assortment by dividing it up into different "worlds": basic, sport, outdoor, fashion and junior. Each world has its own models, materials and colours adapted to the criteria of that particular world !

Price policy

One of the key components of the Switcher philosophy is a family-friendly price policy associated with a fair price-quality ratio. Switcher articles are deliberately priced in an intermediate range. The Switcher product philosophy can therefore be summarized as follows: a fair price for better than average quality.
